J.S.Paris Excavating Inc. began in the wet summer of 1990 with one man, an old Ford 1720 tractor and a Woods backhoe. We went from digging a basement to completing the nations largest beer distribution center in the summer of 09. This project consisting of 350,000 CY of earth and 15,000 LF of utilities to accomodate a 685,000 SF building and 31 acres of parking.
Jim's favorite saying that graces the walls of his shop (his men can recite by heart) is, "It's not a job, it's a way of life". Much of his success originates from his devotion to his customers and each job individually. He is also committed to honesty and equality which allows him to maintain a dedicated crew who has been with him for many years.
With his father, brother and crew by his side, he is able to take on any task that is given to him. Jim knows that it is the team that works together that gets the job done right. When he speaks of his team, that includes his customers.
